I love the way the snow falls past your eyes A cold blurred image that soon will demise What's your name? What's your name? It’s a shame It’s a shame When you run away You're small pieces Gold pieces Red faces White spaces Cold places Warm embraces You're abstract in my mind Snow bouquets And walking on air I dream of you like you are really there Then your reflection hazes in the window next store I snap out I see you And I’m running Then you're gone You're small pieces Gold pieces Red faces White spaces Cold places Warm embraces You're abstract in my mind (You’re amazing) Now I’m having flashbacks of you But this time you are real I reach out to touch you You break to pieces and you float away (c) Bijou Basil

Is this love? There's no gaps in my life I gotta fill, no connections missing, places to hold, I got socks for the cold, and my sweaters are better, never need to be told to hold on, I'm not strong I'm just bored with the sh** so I wait for it, watch for it, I predict the hits I could roll with but I body swerve ahead of the curve ahead of the game I switch lanes, I stay sane this way I could play but a roll in the hay won't come up needles, no prize I'd rather set it on fire and watch it burn than take turns trading words you won't learn, I'll raise my hands to the flames and warm my face on the same fire that keeps me alive, it's been burning inside since way before I decided to start breathing it out, coz I figured it out, I wasn't meant to be quiet, sitting nodding and smiling and dying as I curl in the tiniest ball, I'm still small but I'm bigger than this, I'm taller, broader and I figure I'm tough enough on my own for the space that's been taken away, and I like it this way Is this love? So when you're negging me begging to be what you seem to think of me, telling me you're lonely, sure, come back when I'm 23 again or call me when you get there and let's see if you're still keen on me now coz what's my age again forget about it you gotta admit, it's smaller than the sum of my parts, I'm an artwork made of muscle and bone carved in marble and encrusted with the stones that just grow in my shoes to walk over, make grooves I could use to fix nails made of tall tales into something to do, and I do it every day til it works a little better, harder faster forever, building something I can live in when I'm old and alone, my own body's got rooms where no one else will ever be going, and the ceilings are high enough to see to the sky, coz the stars I been looking for aren't just in my eyes I'm making space to grow and wearing holes in the toes of my shoes til I find boots that fit and kick a way through I'm older than I look but I'm young enough to know I've got a better time ahead of me than where you think we're going Is this love? So I guess what I'm saying is it's me, not you, I'm not the answer you're after, I'm not something to do, I'm not the bonus at the end of whatever level you play, the end of the line, damn you're fine, stay, get out the next day, I'm not the answer to your mum asking every holiday if you're gay, no “Come what may”, we're not f***ing, ok? I guess the bottom line is what I wanted to say when you asked is I finally found my way, I hope you do one day Is this love?

Micro Management Man (Mike Szymanski) Get your work done like I told you It needs doing right this moment Need to make sure to tick the boxes Exactly how I always want it Shut your mouth you don't have a say Your never gonna get it any other way Shut your mouth you don't have a say it's my way or the highway Micro Management Man is Here! Prove your Productivity Pretend to Adhere Micro Management Man is Here! And he's gonna get Management Man of the Year Crunch the numbers Push the buttons Make sure your hours all add up to something I've got a report to present to the board and I want to make sure my a$$ is covered, so Shut your mouth you don't have a say Your never gonna get it any other way Shut your mouth you don't have a say it's my way or the highway Micro Management Man is Here! Prove your Productivity Pretend to Adhere Micro Management Man is Here! And he's gonna get Management Man of the Year I can't be pushed around any more I can't be bothered to adhere to your rules I won't be penciled into anything you can't make me because I quit Micro Management Man is Here! Prove your Productivity Pretend to Adhere Micro Management Man is Here! And he's gonna get Management Man of the Year

Say Goodbye (Bijou Basil) I know I’m crying all alone Once that door opens I’ll get the strength to move on A trial first and then a fail To hide myself behind this veil I’ll make sure that you’ll never love again Oh you’ll never love again Say goodbye It’s bad, I know My dark thoughts are gone To see you crying when I don’t care I have myself to bring me down At least I can do that better than you Porcelain but fake, your face I don’t care I’ll make sure that you’ll never love again Oh you’ll never love again Say goodbye It’s bad, I know My dark thoughts are gone I know it’s hard to say goodbye

Mind's Made Up (Stacy Koviak-Davison) Hear me out Hear me out Can you fake this? Break this? Baby, I have more to say to you I can break free and I want to Kick and shout Kick and shout Can't control this Know this I won't be here tomorrow I won't give you Anything you want I won't be there To catch you when you fall Too late, I'm gone This is where I stand My mind's up I'm breaking out I'm breaking out Scream it loud Scream it loud Can you hear this? Fear this I've got more to say to you I won't be here tomorrow I won't give you Anything you want I won't be there To catch you when you fall Too late, I'm gone This is where I stand My mind's up I'm breaking out Breaking out Breaking out Now you're beggin' me Now you're beggin me Down upon your knees I won't be here tomorrow I won't give you Anything you want I won't be there To catch you when you fall Too late, I'm gone This is where I stand My mind's up I'm breaking out I won't give you I won't be there It's too late My mind's made up I'm breaking out Breaking out Breaking out Breaking out I'm breaking out

about

These are the songs that I wrote as part of February Album Writing Month in 2015. FAWM is an online community of musicians and lyricists that try to write 14 songs in the 28 days of February. I have a number of collaborators across the globe that I write songs with and it is so much fun... Check it out at fawm.org

about

ZeCoop Kalamazoo, Michigan

I love playing music and keep learning new instruments. My songs are in a wide range of styles, from indie-rock to surf, to folk to rock to electronic... I never know. I record at home in a studio I put together in a spare room. I work (via the web) with a lot of vocal/lyric collaborators from all over the world.
