Wings (Liz Frencham) Time waits for no one And no one waits for me And who are you to define what I have to live for? I've lived forty years Nothing here to see If I could carve a pair of wings out of these chips that crush my shoulders I could fly so far from all that I’ve done So far from who I've become Time waits for no one I am no one Time please set me free Resigned to this slow growing ache until I break You can keep this life There's nothing good for me If I could carve a pair of wings out of these chips that crush my shoulders I could fly so far from all that I’ve done So far from who I've become (Just take your time) I’ve tried and tried to walk this crazy wire line (It all takes time) I’m not a circus athlete and I’m disinclined to meet your expectations (It all takes time) Reflect your safe projections (Don’t waste my time) I’m bored with your protection Time waits for no one And no one waits for me And who are you to define what I have to live for? You haven't done a single thing for me

Owner "Right... won't be long. You be good. You be a good dog!" Dog: With that, you walk out of the door You're not coming home anymore You've just up and left and just abandoned me Never to return I'm sure Now I'm all alone in the flat Just me and the cat When I was a pup I was a street dog scavenger What can I get at? Now you've gone, it's all about survival No time to sit around and cry I cannot count on your arrival You've just left me here to starve and die Right... let's have a look in the bin There's a bag with some leftovers in... Let's spread it out and see what we are dealing with I can get more out of that tin! You think that loaf of bread is safe there? I can reach it if I jump on the chair I can get the lid off a peanut butter jar But I can't reach up there, it's not fair! Now you've gone, it's all about survival No time to sit around and cry I cannot count on your arrival You've just left me here to starve and die (a plot is devised) Ooooh... crunchy-munchy cat food! Let's eat it all now You don't know where your next meal is We might be dead by then Now I hear the click of the door I thought that you were gone forever-more Look what the cat did, he's such a naughty boy Can I have biscuit?? - for the trauma...

I was never very far From being on my own From growing up alone I just never had the time For people my own age I always turned the page Blood and magic in my veins You don’t know how it pains me knowing Flood unfathomed it remains And when I think it wanes It’s flowing I didn’t ask to be a sorceress-child Whose mother was to secrecy sworn I chose the colour of my hair To match my temperament ‘Cause I was born a troublemaker I take after my old man I learned to use a blade ‘Cause warriors are made I will fight until I fall But I will never tire My will is my desire Mud is ground into my skin The clothing that I’m in is bloodstained Crud from everywhere I’ve been And every gallant win So untamed I didn’t ask to be a sorceress-child Whose mother was to secrecy sworn I chose the colour of my hair To match my temperament ‘Cause I was born a troublemaker I have never been afraid To stand against the crowd To speak my mind aloud I have never been a maid A damsel or a prize I don’t do well with lies Why did you not tell the truth? I never asked for proof, I trusted You may sigh whenever I’m aloof But don’t blame it on youth It’s rusted I didn’t ask to be a sorceress-child Whose mother was to secrecy sworn I chose the colour of my hair To match my temperament No, I never asked to be a sorceress-child Whose mother was to secrecy sworn I chose the colour of my hair To match my temperament ‘Cause I was born I was born a troublemaker

you were born from the ashes and I do not fear the flame together we will unleash and break the wheel in their game and to those who may try to stand in our way you will wish you had never... moving forward with conviction never questioning why as we take to the sky climb on, climb on we are racing faster than my breath can catch fire fire, fire fire, fire burn it down, burn it down burn it all down to the ground we'll be flying high up above you'll never know you'll never know this kind of love this kind of love this kind of love while we are building this army growing stronger every stride there are those who will betray us do not wish us alive trust no one but each other this is the way it has to be it is because I love you that I can set you free and you return to me stronger each and every time they cannot harness our fire as we take to the sky we will not stop until we get where we are going we will not stop until we reach where we are going climb on, climb on we are racing faster than my breath can catch fire, fire burn it down burn it all down to the ground 'cause we'll be flying high above hold on, hold on the world is spinning down below but we will fight we will fight on it's all we've ever known we'll cross the desert find our way across the narrow sea nothing will stop us from becoming who it is we're meant to be fire, fire burn it down burn it all down to the ground 'cause we'll be flying high above you'll never know this kind of love you were born from the ashes and I do not fear the flame

UAS in the USA That drone that you just purchased ...went and purchased at the store Here’s some things you gotta know if it’s a half a pound or more You gotta register that thing as a U-A-S With your name, with your number and with home address Before you charge it up and start to let it to go Here’s some other facts you'll need Some things you gotta know To fly your UAS in the good ol' USA And stay within the rules set up by the big ol' FAA You’re a big-wig Unmanned Aircraft System operator You can only fly for fun You ain't a commercial aviator You’re now a big-wig Unmanned Aircraft System operator That thing is just for fun I'm like your new drone motivator Don’t fly above a stadium or fly close to a school You can’t buzz by your friends ‘cause you know that just ain’t cool You gotta keep it at four hundred feet or somewhere down below I'm sayin' that there simply are some rules you've gotta know Just keep your drone in sight and don’t let it go astray ‘cause all the real MANNED aircraft have got the right of way To safely fly your UAS within the USA You gotta keep the nearest airport over five miles away You’re a big-wig Unmanned Aircraft System operator You can only fly for fun You ain't a commercial aviator You’re now a big-wig Unmanned Aircraft System operator That thing is just for fun I'm like your new drone motivator Remember this my friend if you're here in the USA You can only fly your drone within the rules set by the F... You've been hiding in the bathroom Hiding in the bathroom all day You've been hiding in the bathroom Hiding in the bathroom all day Hoping to disappear quietly In the throes of anxiety You've been hiding in the bathroom Hiding in the bathroom all day You've been hiding in the bathroom Hiding in the bathroom all day You've been hiding in the bathroom Hiding in the bathroom all day Feet tucked up above the stall Pretending that you're standing in a waterfall Hiding in the bathroom Hiding in the bathroom all day (solo) You've been hiding in the bathroom Hiding in the bathroom all day You've been hiding in the bathroom Hiding in the bathroom all day Who knows what tomorrow will bring But right now you're just waiting for the bell to ring Hhiding in the bathroom Hiding in the bathroom all day

It's been so long since I last saw you Lost in the void and I don't know why It's been like light years since you left me Hey, better call the FBI Watching, waiting, hoping, praying... Will you even come back? Will you ever come back? Left me alone in Foggy Bottom Said you were going to Le Droit Park Waited and waited for you to call me Hey little baby, it's getting dark Watching, waiting, hoping, praying... Will you even come back? Will you ever come back? Checking out all your favorite places Thought you might be at the zoo Put your picture on America's Most Wanted Someone spotted you in Kalamazoo... Watching, waiting, hoping, praying... Will you even come back? Will you ever come back? Wanted to go to California Where the weather is hot and dry Hey little baby, what's your problem All you want to do is make your daddy cry Watching, waiting, hoping, praying... Will you even come back? Will you ever come back?

about

ZeCoop Kalamazoo, Michigan

I love playing music and keep learning new instruments. My songs are in a wide range of styles, from indie-rock to surf, to folk to rock to electronic... I never know. I record at home in a studio I put together in a spare room. I work (via the web) with a lot of vocal/lyric collaborators from all over the world.
