ZeCoop:
I was working on something this weekend, and had enjoyed seeing @seemanski collaborate with my brother @guatecoop... Back in 2012, Mike actually was my very first FAWM collaboration, and we've written some great songs together. Then life happened and a new baby girl came along, and I've been there, so I knew how busy he has been the last few years. But we had hoped to get something done this year. Nothing had so far for me, but when he asked me on Friday if I thought a collab might still work, I was home taking a vacation day from work, with the house to myself... Naturally that meant, I decided to turn up the amps!!
I picked up my trusty Danelectro DC59, which always seems to hand me new songs, and turned my 1972 Traynor YGM-3 up to about 9. This song fell onto the ground in front of me, in about 5 minutes. I LOVE that. It definitely qualifies for the instrumental hook too!
Danelectro DC59
Agile AL3100 (both through my YGM-3 amp)
Fender Jazz bass (through my Traynor YBA-1 amp)
Ludwig Hollywood drums

Seemanski:
(might still be awake) 😀
Yep, still awake... just. I asked @zecoop and he sent me this. I immediately thought of rival sons and thought it needed something big, so I gave it a go. When he sent me this I just about to spend a day with my little girl. That day did not turn out well... AT ALL! Hence these lyrics. Loved what zecoop gave me, great to collab with him again.
