Sapient:
I'm so happy to get to co-write with @zecoop, the FAWMer with the coolest twang and the snappiest beats. My new Gretsch baritone had to come to the party, and then this just HAD to have that surfer sound 😁

zecoop: drums, combo organ, surfcaster rhythm
sapient: rhythm guitar, bass, tele lead, vocals

ZeCoop:
We thought maybe a collab would be a fun idea and talked about it very early in FAWM, but things got crazy as things do, and it hadn't happened yet. Then a riff came to Sapient and he sent it over - sounded super fun to me, but I was in the middle of about five songs, so I asked if he could come up with some more parts. He sent over the main body of the song with guitars and bass. I sat down at my drum set and figured out all the ins and outs (of which there were quite a few), but it sounded pretty fantastic. I figured I could add some surfy combo organ, and also did a little surfy rhythm guitar with my Surfcaster. Back over for the final touches, and wow were those final touched fun!!

This was a blast and I'm so glad we could get it done under the wire and hit the beach. OK, ahem, yea maybe not *quite* yet, lol
