Can't You Sew? (ft Jay Kendall)

about

I had talked to my friend Jay about doing a song together, back when Treading Bleu played a show in his hometown in Ohio last December. Jay used to be in a band with my brother and likes to rock it out, so I once again used some empty house time to turn up the Traynor YGM-3 and get some serious crunch going. This song came out really fast and I sent it over. Jay added some awesome vocals and another guitar. Then I added one more guitar for good measure. 😀

Gear:
Epiphone Les Paul Custom PRO, one side sith the bridge coil split and the other with full humbuckers.
1970 Traynor YGM-3 turned up to 7
Danelectro DanoBlaster bass
1991 Gibson Les Paul Special (P-90's) - Last part of song
1973 Ludwig Hollywood drum set

Jay's gear:
70’s ovation viper
Dr Z Remedy amp with Z Best cab
Earthquaker devices Acapulco Gold
1973 EHX Rams Head Big Muff

lyrics

In the daytime
In the nighttime, yeah
In the turnstyle
Gonna gonna be had
Fine time
Fine time to be mine

Can’t you see the rail?
Can’t you can’t you sew?

Go fast or go slow
You don’t know
Never missed that
Never gonna let go
Fine time
Fine time to be mine

Can’t you see the rail?

Run it out now
Run run away, yeah
At the Tip Top
Gotta make a day now
Fine time
Fine time to be mine

Can’t you see the rail?

In the daytime
In the nighttime, yeah
In the turnstyle
Gonna gonna be had
Fine time
Fine time to be mine

Can’t you see the rail?

about

ZeCoop Kalamazoo, Michigan

I love playing music and keep learning new instruments. My songs are in a wide range of styles, from indie-rock to surf, to folk to rock to electronic... I never know. I record at home in a studio I put together in a spare room. I work (via the web) with a lot of vocal/lyric collaborators from all over the world.
