Lost in an Ancient Subway Tunnel

about

You know sometimes how you have one thing in mind but then a completely different thing happens and you just roll with it? First off, I promise that I have some normal songs in the works, a whole bunch of them, as a matter of fact.

Yeah... this isn't one of them. 😀

I was going to make up a beat using my old $10 Casio MT-41, through my guitar pedals.

I did that.

Then I was going to go back to one of my normal songs and add another part.

I didn't do that.

I kept playing with the MT-41 through the delay, chorus and reverb pedals (oh and a fuzz pedal for the bass buttons on the MT-41). Then I added a crazy random ambient MIDI track that kind of sounded like distant animals.

And THAT is how we all ended up lost in these abandoned (or are they?) ancient subway tunnels looking for food in our post-apocalyptic world.

Have a good day!!! 😉

Almost everything except the random noise sounds were made using my 1980(ish) Casio MT-41 with lots of pedal sound enhancements.
Canyon delay
MXR analog chorus
Oceans 11 reverb
EHX Bass Big Muff Pi

Electric guitar with EBow

Random noise sounds made with the Sun-Ra random noise generator MIDI instrument and with an Agile AL-3100 Les Paul, using an EBow, through all the pedals listed above.

I love playing music and keep learning new instruments. My songs are in a wide range of styles, from indie-rock to surf, to folk to rock to electronic... I never know. I record at home in a studio I put together in a spare room. I work (via the web) with a lot of vocal/lyric collaborators from all over the world.
