Night Drive in a Black Camaro (ft Mike Szymanski)

It's been way too long since Seemanski and I have collaborated... Not that there were not great reasons, like his family having a new baby in the last few years. 😀 But understanding the limitations that he had this year, he has come up with some amazing songs and i wanted to send him something to work with.

Since he's using his looper pedal a lot, I grabbed some drum loops and just built a little groove with my Volca Bass. Then I beefed it up with my Yamaha DX-21 and put some spacey atmospherics in with the my digital piano's Strings pad. Lots of effects later...

He gave me a great take on his looper with bass and guitar - and I totally missed the e-mail. UGH! So BIG thanks for the reminder and i had a wonderful surprise to work on this morning. A few more tweaks to my parts and here we are. It reminds me of a late night drive in a cool car, back in the day.
