FAWM wouldn't be FAWM without a collab with ZeCoop. He sent me this lovely rocking tune and I wrote about what I know, the bickering that has generally been happening in my house between myself and my daughter.
ZeCoop:
Yeah! I love hearing collabs come together like this. Tons of attitude, and really matched the vibe of the song I sent. This was a fun one to write and record. It had such a fast pace with the guitars that I couldn't play the drum part I had in my mind, so I had to go half time with the highhat. We have done different styles together, but I guess I just love hearing seemanski get rowdy. Come to think of it, two years ago our song was on this same topic, haha. 😉
Thanks for knocking it out of the park once again - I love it!
Oh yeah, FUZZ!!! I also used my Lovepedal MkIII fuzz pedal for the solo and last section. It's is essentially a Vox Tonebender. I hate solos, but this was fun. 😀

lyrics
what's that, on the TV
that turns you, into a zombie
all I did, was turn it off
I guess I'm in luck, you haven't got a molotov
you're right, it's your bedtime
don't look at me like I have crossed a line
I know that life, is unfair
please don't tell me that you have to share to care
and we're not going to back down
and we're not going to back down
you might not like, the things that I watch
but you've got no right, to put me on a stopwatch
I just want to watch it, one my time
and your draconian measures don't quite fit the crime
I'm not showing, my hand
and I'm treating my feet like there stuck in quicksand
your so horrible, you are the worst
I feel my head is about to burst
and we're not going to back down
and we're not going to back down
I'm gonna poke, poke the fire
there's a truth, that we have to confess
when it comes to this
only mother knows best
we'll brush our teeth
get ready for bed
dry our eyes from the tears that we shed
Hold back, take a moment
find a way to find atonement
and before we close our eyes
we, we, both say sorry!

I love playing music and keep learning new instruments. My songs are in a wide range of styles, from indie-rock to surf, to
folk to rock to electronic... I never know. I record at home in a studio I put together in a spare room. I work (via the web) with a lot of vocal/lyric collaborators from all over the world.
Recorded on the Grecian isle of Hydra, this is blissed-out psych pop with stacked falsetto harmonies and luscious arrangements. Bandcamp New & Notable Apr 9, 2023
