about

to further my attempt at using all my instruments, I had two more keyboards that I had not used, so I recorded a drum/bass part on my PSS-450, with the autochord on, and used the chord/bass notes and the drum fill button live, to create something to work on. One take.

Then I looked around to see what else I had not used and saw...... my banjo, that I have played exactly ONCE, on a FAWM song last year. So on top of Yamaha PSS drums and chords, I added - banjo.
So now that I had the theme, I grabbed my... Mandolin, which I have played exactly ZERO times. I got it because I love the sound and found out that I can't play them. How do people fit their fingers on these things?!?!! I looked up two chords and made up two more and rolled with it.
I then added some 'piano' with a Fisher Price "I Can Play Piano" keyboard Also the first time using it, and it has to be mic'd since there are no outputs when improvising, except for the TV program that teaches you to play.

Last was my accordion, which I had never played, but it's like a piano, right?

I love this song.......

about

ZeCoop Kalamazoo, Michigan

I love playing music and keep learning new instruments. My songs are in a wide range of styles, from indie-rock to surf, to folk to rock to electronic... I never know. I record at home in a studio I put together in a spare room. I work (via the web) with a lot of vocal/lyric collaborators from all over the world.
