Helen and I wrote a couple songs during last year's FAWM, along with my brother, and we all enjoyed it so much that we did an album at the start of all this madness. If you have not heard that, it is here:

So, as crazy as this FAWM has been, I wrote a song for Helen this past week and she agreed to make time for it. It was another song that started on my 8-track cassette recorder with drums mostly made up on the spot (without any idea what the song will be). I came up with the acoustic bass line next and added guitars and shakers. I really liked the out of the ordinary chord progression - until I actually had to play it on guitar, haha. It all worked out and Helen's lyrics and vocals were perfect for it! I love how it all fits together and has such an awesome attitude in the vocal, you know, in a procrastinate-y kind of way. Thank you so much for writing this song with me! I just love how it turned out. 😀
