Writing, recording and mixing this song completely flashed me back to my very first FAWM in 2011, when I wrote almost all of my songs with my dad's lyrics (13/14), and sang them all, which is not something I like doing. Keep in mind that he had never written lyrics before I told him I was doing this absolutely crazy thing called FAWM that I had found on the internet.. When he started sending me lyrics in January 2011, there is no one it surprised more than me. But I am so glad I went with it and composed music outside my comfort zone!

My dad calls me every time he writes a new poem and this one had such an incredible rhythm that i knew I would make a song. It took a while, but it is here, at last. 😀
