ZeCoop: I've been writing with Karl for years and I love how grand his visions are (although we have done some beautiful acoustic songs too). But first up, I went into the studio with the intention of writing something BIG. HUGE. I wanted to write a rock anthem for Karl. I got done and it sounded really big. I was happy. So I sent it off and he liked it a lot which is great! When he sent me back his parts today.... HOLY COW!!! What *I* thought was big wasn't even close... This is gargantuan! He added tons of vocals and an awesome guitar solo in the second half. Karl is a master of layers and harmonies and big ideas. I had the greatest time mixing the 38 tracks of this song... By far my biggest project in a while and WOW, do I love it. Huge thanks to Karl for once again going way beyond what I could have imagined! :D

And ha ha i would love to have seen the look on john's face when i sent him all the individual stems!! But like the superstar he is he's created a monumental mix.
There are so many things i love about FAWM but since 2017 somehow myself and john have always gravitated to each other and musically he takes me to all my fav places and beyond and joy and pleasure to do another track with him, and seriously when i heard what he'd done, i was kind of bouncing around in excitement. I more huge thanks for letting me whack my impromptu over excited guitar wah on the track. woohoo
If a certain Karl pulls his finger out, we defohave enough for an album now..;-) Eyes peeled all!!!!
