So, here's a great example of a song going where you really did not plan on it going. Work got crazy for me the last few days and when I finally got back to FAWM after dinner tonight, I started messing around with my acoustic 12 string, thinking I'd come up with some shoegaze or dreampop or something. Well, I found myself playing this oddball set of chords that changed at strange times. I have no idea what time signature this one is - it very likely changes a bunch of times, but I just went with it because it seemed to flow. As soon as I worked out where the sections needed to go to flow together, I realized I had a spacey sounding song with the 12 string on one side and the 6 string on the other, playing off of each other. I figured my 1970's Roland String Synth might be a good bass and fill, since this one wasn't going to have normal things like a bass and drums. I threw that into my stereo uni-vibe pedal to give it some width. After that i layered some electric 12 string through a bunch of pedals and my 1960's Traynor YGM-3.

Spacey indeed... So, let's go back to the golden age of space travel and hitch a ride on Voyager, shall we?
