Once again @owl has lifted music I have written into another space that addresses issues in beautiful and thought provoking ways. Apparently she threw the first version out, but when we talked last night still was planning on having another go. And this was waiting for me in my inbox this today. Amazing. One of the things I love about writing with Owl is that her beautiful voice can give her wonderfully written lyrics another level of calm, that makes you relax and perhaps not dig into the underlying message until later. A perfect example of this would be the album that she did with @vomvorton as Vowl Sounds (HIGHLY recommended). I listened through that album at least twice before I paused, read the lyrics and had a big "Hang on for a second..." moment. It is SO good. And this song is no exception.
